Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University (DBUU) will conduct the Research Entrance Test (Written Test & Personal Interview) for Ph.D. aspirants as per the information given below. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for Ph.D. Entrance Examination in the following disciplines:

Eligibility:

As per UGC rules and Ph.D. Ordinance of the University.
Master's Degree or a Professional Degree declared equivalent to the Master's degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade point in a point scale wherever grading system is followed. A relaxation of 5% of marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/differently-abled.

Exemption from the Written test ONLY:

Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET JRF, CSIR/SLET, GATE, GPATExaminations, having valid score card.
Candidates who have successfully completed regular M.Phil. Programme with at least 55% in aggregate(A relaxation of 5% marks will be allowed in the entrance examination for the candidates belonging to SC/SC/OBC/differently-abled category) from a recognized University/Institution.

Written Test (70 Marks):

The written test will be Objective Type (MCQ) with following components:-

General Aptitude - 35 Marks
Subject Specific - 35 Marks

Interview:

Only for the candidate who have secured 50% marks in written test): Date & Time of Personal Interview will be informed after the result declaration of written test
